MY ASSUMPTION

Lessons learned
A single alone in the thoroughfare of life
It overload with hatred,
Yearning and aprehension
Ioften trip up as my aspiration is near

People strive to neglect my view,
For not having the fortitude of gladness.
I gave my entire being until I way gone astray
I become burly,
For i am refusing my weakness
Lavishly I way hopeless

Definitely,I'll be delighted to confirm this instance
Like a masculine for not showing that I can't
This confusing smirk shows my shade of flaw.
Finally,this wounded sympathy
Reminds ma that I ought to learn.

Must I continue being pathetic and on edge?
Will this mortal be the merely way out
Until it poof away my wretchedness
Question swayed above my answer
Well chase my instance

Mr. Right

Before my life was colorless and pale
No romantic moment as in a fairy tale
All i have is an empty heart that hope and pray
that Mr right come along my way

The moment that I'm waiting for came
I met a guy who's so quiet and ashamed
He talked a little and smiles often
But he makes my heart beats fast every now and then

From then on,I asked a signed from God
If he's really the one or not
The signed happened and surprise is all I've got

 Everyday,I'm secretly glancing at him
Who wants to achieve her aim?
And that is to recognize me as friend
And even a best friend till the end

As time goes by,my admiration grew stronger
Every time he stares  at me, my heart beat faster
His beauty is rare to find
Plus the face that he's cool and kind

Yet,i know he will remain as a dream
He will never like me as what I am
For I know, there's many of there that hope and pray
Like me, who wants to own his heart someday.

The First Ever Rose Among The Thorns

She is the woman behind the best president we never had.She hated politics all her life and little did she know that she would soon hold the highest office of the country. She is Maria Corazon "Cory" Cojuangco-Aquino.
Being a mother of five and a wife of a politician by heart and by faith, her life was long been spent inside a home.Despising the problelimatical nature of politics, she strongly gets into it despite the notion that she only wants to have a peaceful life. The peaceful life that was taken away since the day she married the late en, Benigno Aquino Jr.The death of her husband turned into her strength to for the Filipinos itself. She became active in many protest against the dictatorship of Marcos .It soon to led to a snap election,
The story of how her husband fought for democracy is a renowned one that is embarked within our minds and hearts. It is when God's providence moves mysteriously  that Mrs. Aquino became the starling President Aquino.

FULFILLING THE DREAMS

As she stares outside the window and see the world below her.she realized that she is not afraid anymore;she realize that this independence has prepared her to go out there and conquer the world. She learned to take risk,to makes mistakes,to plunge head first into the unknown, and fly despite her luck of wings. As she looked back on how the past three years have been, all she can say is that she found everything about them, the best, the worst, and everything else in between.
"Now I am a fourth year student, this is the last step of my four-year course and I am very happy nga may mga teachers parehas sila nga always guid ga intindi sa akon kag sa ila ko nabal an how to deal with different students".
Life is not a joke to be laughed at,yat, not to be wept.If you think you cannot bear it any longer, hope and never stop hoping.Everyhting will be okey in th end.If it is not okay then, perhaps it is not the end....

A DREAM TO BE THANKFUL FOR........

A strong standing pillar depends in the founders on how they
secure for the test of a long time depend as how strong is your foundation
in every challenges that may cross on your way.
I am that kind of person who is full of dreams and aspiration.I
am a risk-taker.I will do anything to survive.Due to financial constraint,
I learned ti become independent student, and now,a million thanks who
had helped me financially, morally and spiritually though it's not the right
time to say all these words but  a foreword of appreciation as recognition
to what they have done towards achieving my goals..

DENGUE:A Climate Change Epidemic

Dengue is now invading the whole nation.Hundreds  of thousands of dengue cases are reported nationwide every year. One of the epidemiologists of department of health(DOH)stressed that the emerging pattern is that dengue disease  is plaguing the country all year around.
Dengue is one of the water borne diseases that provides scientific evidence that global warming is changing the seasonal patterns of infectious disease, according to scientists.this is because the virus itself and mosquitoes that carry the virus are known to be sensitive ti climate changes. In the past decades ,peaks were observed only during the wet season, female mosquitoes which lay their  eggs  in dirty open containers can survive and transmit virus to human.
     There are two kinds of mosquitoes,Stegomyia Aegypti and Stegomyia Albopictus(formerly known as Aedes)carry the four stains of dengue virus called sterotypes.Below are the symtoms and signs  of dengue;

  • Rapidly increasing fever
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Loss of appetite
  • Faint Rash
  • Deep muscles Aches
  • Joint Pains and pains behind the eyes
It's not only during El Nino and La Nina the dengue epidemics track climate variations.dengue epidemics have consistently followed temperature and rainfall patterns in the Philippines  based on the studies. Also the seasonal reversal    of El Nino and La Nina weather event has an effect on how the mosquitoes can go and how long they can transmit the virus to human.

Technology;Does it transform our lives?

Technology changes the way we live today,it somehow gives
credit to us for making our lives as easy as 1-2-3.But have
we ever tried to find out how it will affect our society or even
to ourselves? Will it be the key to a progressing creature?or it
may get hold even worst as technology dig up better?
We can't deny the fact of getting involved with these gadgets
made by our technology in this day and age.Even the young one's
can never escape from the evolution of high technology.Examples
of this are cellular phone and computer.Let's just say that these
are one of the top things that we human being acclaims that really
help us to communicate effortlessly.way back the old living,we
can also converse to others from a far with the use of telegram but
this will take time unlike the use of cellphones nowadays; As fast the
blink of an eye you can transmit your message with this invented high
technologies.
One thing about this technology it is also involves entertainment. All
of us now using internet;this is also one of the reason why people can
access information easily with its help. Why go to library when you
can find the gist on the internet? But aside from this effortless, library
will always be our tradition.Social networking like facebook and friendster
are one of the most common entertainment to our web today. These are
just example of technologies effects and its outgrowth.
Transformation will constantly emerge.Even if we don't bother,it's just
like what technonlogy made our lives as trouble-free.let's just go with the
stream of it express us,the only key is not to  take ourselves easily without
knowing the ground us changes be relevant in our surroundings.Don't just
apply changes, recognize it.Don't just stick to it,but know the motivation behind.

Hindrance to Victory

At various peaks in our lives,we become the sufferer of these so called challenges.
Those tests which bring us closer to become tough on facing the presence of raw hatred,
failures and even all the flaws. Will the voice of the winner be heard?can you visualize a victory
without failing?
There's no sense in trying if  you will never commit an error. This leads you to become
wiser in making decision. We will not all be acquainted with the essence of success without
even experiencing the wish of the failing one. It's eventually the key in holding on to your reveries
and made this all possible. We can never assure where the wind will stop blowing. We can never
blame circumstances if we let it take place entirely.Let those errors be our guide and make all
the scenarios nearer to perfection.
Life is never about how we are the victor or be beaten in a fight. It's about how we intend to
be the strongest along with the thing we have learned about all the way.If the traffic is already
at the hand,we should not run-off from it,instead we should take all of this, cause we are only
victim of these particular cases.Just brawl until the scene gets tired of it.Just try if you have
still all the guts.Don't just surrender and be proud of all the breakdown you have encountered.
But in your mind, the test is not about losing in the battle but how we stand while celebrating
the victory of winning the fight...

Approaching The Reality

When I wake up every morning seeing the sparkling and
shimmering rays of the sun that made my eyes wide-opened,
new hope and courage added to the vault of my confidence.
To become successful is not merely too far from my fate and I am already
there to approach that peak of success. It is the reason why I persevere
and very determined to graduate in my course in college that
would correspond to my profession someday. With that,my
innocent mind full of dreams is now turning to the chances of reality.
Yes! Reality I feel i, that my perseverance and determination
at last, worked.A dream of a simple and ordinary student finally blooms
and shows the real fruit of its ambition. Now,as I'm so near to one step
to the ladder of success which is my graduation, hopefully someday
it will continue like a flowing water of the river till it reaches its final
 destination-the sea,a wide-field of patience,a matter of perseverance
and a heart of enjoyment, comes together will result to a real success.

Philippine Wedding Culture and Superstitions

Filipinos still adhere to numerous widely-held folk beliefs that have no scientific or logical basis but maybe backed-up by some past experiences (yet can be dismissed as mere coincidence). Below are just a few that concerns weddings. Some are still practiced to this day primarily because of 'there's nothing to lose if we comply' attitude while the others are totally ignored for it seemed downright ridiculous.
=Brides shouldn't try on her wedding dress before the wedding day or the wedding will not push through.
=Knives and other sharp and pointed objects are said to be a bad choice for wedding gifts for this will lead to a broken marriage.

=Giving arinola (chamberpot) as wedding gift is believed to bring good luck to newlyweds.
=Altar-bound couples are accident-prone and therefore must avoid long drives or traveling before their wedding day for safety.
=The groom who sits ahead of his bride during the wedding ceremony will be a henpecked husband.
=If it rains during the wedding, it means prosperity and happiness for the newlyweds.

= A flame extinguished on one of the wedding candles means the one on which side has the unlit candle, will die ahead of the other.
=Throwing rice confetti at the newlyweds will bring them prosperity all their life.
=The groom must arrive before the bride at the church to avoid bad luck.
=It is considered bad luck for two siblings to marry on the same year.
=Breaking something during the reception brings good luck to the newlyweds.
=The bride should step on the groom's foot while walking towards the altar if she wants him to agree to her every whim.
=A bride who wears pearls on her wedding will be an unhappy wife experiencing many heartaches and tears.
=An unmarried woman who follows the footsteps (literally) of the newlyweds will marry soon.
=Dropping the wedding ring, the veil or the arrhae during the ceremony spells unhappiness for the couple.
=In early Filipino custom, the groom-to-be threw his spear at the front steps of his intended's home, a sign that she has been spoken for. These days, a ring suffices as the symbol of engagement.

                                              The Engagement
After the couple has decided to marry, the first order of business is the pamanhikan, where the groom and his parents visit the bride's family to ask for her hand in marriage. Wedding plans are often made at this time, including a discussion of the budget and guest list. Don't be surprised if the groom-to-be is expected to run some errands or help out around the bride's house. This tradition is called paninilbihan, where the suitor renders service to his future wife's family to gain their approval. After the couple has decided to marry, the first order of business is the pamanhikan, where the groom and his parents visit the bride's family to ask for her hand in marriage.                                                The Wedding Outfits
The white wedding dress has become popular in the last hundred years or so with America's influence in the Philippines. Before that, brides wore their best dress, in a festive color or even stylish black, to celebrate a wedding. Orange blossom bouquets and adornments were a must during the turn of the last century. For men, the barong tagalog is the traditional Filipino formal wear. It is a cool, almost transparent, embroidered shirt, made from silky pina or jusi, two native ecru fabrics. It is worn untucked, over black pants, with a white t-shirt underneath. These days, a Filipino American groom might wear the conventional black tux, but Filipino male wedding guests will usually show up in their finest barongs.
                                             The Ceremony
In pre-colonial days, a wedding ceremony lasted three days. On the first day, the bride and groom were brought to the house of a priest or babaylan, who joined their hands over a plate of raw rice and blessed the couple. On the third day, the priest pricked the chests of both bride and groom and drew a little blood. Joining their hands, they declared their love for each other three times. The priest then fed them cooked rice from the same plate and gave them a drink of some of their blood mixed with water. Binding their hands and necks with a cord, he declared them married. The majority of Filipino weddings are now Catholic weddings, but some native traditions remain. Most have special "sponsors" who act as witnesses to the marriage. The principal sponsors could be godparents, counselors, a favorite uncle and aunt, even a parent. Secondary sponsors handle special parts of the ceremony, such as the candle, cord and veil ceremonies. Candle sponsors light two candles, which the bride and groom use to light a single candle to symbolize the joining of the two families and to invoke the light of Christ in their married life. Veil sponsors place a white veil over the bride's head and the groom's shoulders, a symbol of two people clothed as one. Cord sponsors drape the yugal (a decorative silk cord) in a figure-eight shape--to symbolize everlasting fidelity--over the shoulders of the bride and groom. The groom gives the bride 13 coins, or arrhae, blessed by the priest, as a sign of his dedication to his wife's well-being and the welfare of their future children.
                                            The Food
The Filipino wedding feast is elaborate. One feast celebrated at the turn of the last century involved these foods: First was served cold vermicelli soup. The soup was followed by meats of unlimited quantity--stewed goat, chicken minced with garlic, boiled ham, stuffed capon, roast pork and several kinds of fish. There were no salads, but plenty of relishes, including red peppers, olives, green mango pickles and crystallized fruits. For dessert, there were meringues, baked custard flan, coconut macaroons and sweetened seeds of the nipa plant.
all of them are just a superstitions beliefs

Is There HOPE For The Philippines?

The Philippines has long been besieged by problems of all sorts for decades. This made me wonder why. This country is fairly rich in natural resources, has a large population with high literacy rate, and has a very well-equipped work force. This country has all what it takes to improve but why is it that its growth is always stunted??Back in school, we have been discussing why a certain country remains underdeveloped and causing downturns to all aspects in our government. And ob course the main reasons are economic mismanagement, corruption and political instability. No doubt our beloved Philippines has been in a quandary.I do not want myself to be squeezed into this decayed system that we have now. I do not want to be molded into the system where our leaders have tried to run the government with negligible conscience.our government could not provide enough of the basic services that Filipinos expect and deserve.  We have poor educational system, poor social services, poor health services, poor everything. But because we come from a Third World Country, I thought everything is just normal. To see these educated, honorable crooks calling each other names and accusing each other of crimes that they themselves are guilty of, I feel so ashamed for having to share the same nationality with them. I feel so worthless for I can not do anything for my country because by today i know  i can not do anything . Political leaders are big disappointments we have also Scandalous government deals, Plundering presidents pointing fingers,Senators associated with crooks, Congressmen who accept bribes and also  Big time lawyers on the wrong side of truth and justice. These are only but a few of the scenarios that have gotten our country berserk. We are saddled by politicians’ too much hunger for power. They hang on and cling to power even when they know within themselves that they have betrayed the Filipino’s trust.....  I am not losing hope for our country. Just like many other Filipinos out there, I dream of something better for the Philippines. It is the only country I call “mine” and there’s no other place that I could consider “my home.” I want to shout to the entire world that what they hear and see in the news everyday are not all true. Not all Filipinos are crook; not all Filipinos are corrupt. There are still more Filipinos’ who are willing to make a stand- to stand for what is right and just....."Young people seem to know more about politics than they know about popular culture........

Health Tips

Health is important to us as a human even to an animal because this is the basis of our healthy lifestyle.....so here's some tips for us to live a healthy and normal life......

  1. Eat a variety of nutrient-rich foods. You need more than 40 different nutrients for good health, and no single food supplies them all. Your daily food selection should include bread and other whole-grain products; fruits; vegetables; dairy products; and meat, poultry, fish and other protein foods. How much you should eat depends on your calorie needs. Use the Food Guide Pyramid and the Nutrition Facts panel on food labels as handy references.
  2. Enjoy plenty of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Surveys show most Americans don't eat enough of these foods. Do you eat 6-11 servings from the bread, rice, cereal and pasta group, 3 of which should be whole grains? Do you eat 2-4 servings of fruit and 3-5 servings of vegetables? If you don't enjoy some of these at first, give them another chance. Look through cookbooks for tasty ways to prepare unfamiliar foods.
  3. Maintain a healthy weight. The weight that's right for you depends on many factors including your sex, height, age and heredity. Excess body fat increases your chances for high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, some types of cancer and other illnesses. But being too thin can increase your risk for osteoporosis, menstrual irregularities and other health problems. If you're constantly losing and regaining weight, a registered dietitian can help you develop sensible eating habits for successful weight management. Regular exercise is also important to maintaining a healthy weight.
  4. Eat moderate portions. If you keep portion sizes reasonable, it's easier to eat the foods you want and stay healthy. Did you know the recommended serving of cooked meat is 3 ounces, similar in size to a deck of playing cards? A medium piece of fruit is 1 serving and a cup of pasta equals 2 servings. A pint of ice cream contains 4 servings. Refer to the Food Guide Pyramid for information on recommended serving sizes.
  5. Eat regular meals. Skipping meals can lead to out-of-control hunger, often resulting in overeating. When you're very hungry, it's also tempting to forget about good nutrition. Snacking between meals can help curb hunger, but don't eat so much that your snack becomes an entire meal.
  6. Reduce, don't eliminate certain foods. Most people eat for pleasure as well as nutrition. If your favorite foods are high in fat, salt or sugar, the key is moderating how much of these foods you eat and how often you eat them.
Identify major sources of these ingredients in your diet and make changes, if necessary. Adults who eat high-fat meats or whole-milk dairy products at every meal are probably eating too much fat. Use the Nutrition Facts panel on the food label to help balance your choices.
Choosing skim or low-fat dairy products and lean cuts of meat such as flank steak and beef round can reduce fat intake significantly.
If you love fried chicken, however, you don't have to give it up. Just eat it less often. When dining out, share it with a friend, ask for a take-home bag or a smaller portion.
  7. Balance your food choices over time. Not every food has to be "perfect." When eating a food high in fat, salt or sugar, select other foods that are low in these ingredients. If you miss out on any food group one day, make up for it the next. Your food choices over several days should fit together into a healthy pattern.
  8. Know your diet pitfalls. To improve your eating habits, you first have to know what's wrong with them. Write down everything you eat for three days. Then check your list according to the rest of these tips. Do you add a lot of butter, creamy sauces or salad dressings? Rather than eliminating these foods, just cut back your portions. Are you getting enough fruits and vegetables? If not, you may be missing out on vital nutrients.
  9. Make changes gradually. Just as there are no "superfoods" or easy answers to a healthy diet, don't expect to totally revamp your eating habits overnight. Changing too much, too fast can get in the way of success. Begin to remedy excesses or deficiencies with modest changes that can add up to positive, lifelong eating habits. For instance, if you don't like the taste of skim milk, try low-fat. Eventually you may find you like skim, too.
  10. Remember, foods are not good or bad...so Select foods based on your total eating patterns, not whether any individual food is "good" or "bad." Don't feel guilty if you love foods such as apple pie, potato chips, candy bars or ice cream. Eat them in moderation, and choose other foods to provide the balance and variety that are vital to good health.

About Society

Society is  a group of people related to each other through persistent relations,a large social grouping that shares the same geographical or virtual territory, subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations.
Human societies are characterized by patterns of relationships (social relations) between individuals sharing a distinctive culture and institutions; a given society may be described as the sum total of such relationships among its constituent members. Without an article, the term refers either to the entirety of humanity or to a contextually specific subset of people. In social sciences, a society invariably entails social stratification and/or dominance hierarchy.
Like other groupings, a society allows its members to achieve needs or wishes they could not fulfill alone. The social fact can be identified, understood, or specified within a circumstance that certain resources, objectives, requirements, or results are needed and utilized in an individual manner and for individual ends, although they cannot be achieved, gotten, or fulfilled in an individual manner as well, but, on the contrary, they can be gotten only in a collective, collaborative manner; namely, teamwork becomes the valid functional means to individual ends which an individual would need to have but is not able to get. This way the social concerns or "interests" (the initial and prior achievement of the global goals at the society level) and the individual ("private") interests (the subsequent achievement of the individual goals) are logically different and not mutually exclusive facets and phases to consider within the social fact. Individual members need to work for the global success of the society (coordinately and organizedly, following certain rules), as a means of working for their own individual success.Society is essentially a collaborative manner of operating to accomplish individual ends (given the circumstances where it needs to be so), this process involving some form of transposition, correlation or resolution between the society-level achievements and the individual-level achievements. In the natural environment, society has been evolved as a successful ethological strategy, very specially and remarkably in the case of Homo sapiens species.
More broadly, a society is an economicsocial, or industrial infrastructure, made up of a varied collection of individuals. Members of a society may be from different ethnic groups. A society may be a particular ethnic group, such as the Saxons; a nation state, such as Bhutan; or a broader cultural group, such as a Western society. The word society may also refer to an organized voluntary association of people for religious, benevolent, cultural, scientific, political, patriotic, or other purposes. A "society" may even, though more by means of metaphor, refer to a social organism such as an ant colony or any cooperative aggregate such as, for example, in some formulations of artificial intelligence.
